The new ondot solutions office has a 5.6 kWp photovoltaic system mounted on our garage roof. We use it to produce around 5,600 kWh – this way we can produce and feed in part of the electricity we need for our operations. In addition, we take measures in our daily operations to further reduce consumption. Here, ideas from across the entire ondot team are considered and implemented together.

Carpooling is good for the environment, good for your wallet and provides a social commute with colleagues. ondot solutions promotes carsharing and guarantees share cars a coveted parking space on company premises. We are developing an app to provide logistical support for carpooling.

ondot solutions gives every employee who does not travel by car a free ticket, known as an ‘Öffis’, for public transport. They can also use this ticket to travel throughout the entire province free of charge. This makes public transport more attractive and motivates employees to leave their car behind and help the planet by making one less trip.
Furthermore, ondot solutions has two storage boxes at the Baden railway station where scooters and bicycles can be parked safely. We also provide ample parking space for scooters and bicycles at our office premises.

We want to actively reduce emissions by giving our employees the choice to work from home. Working from home guarantees a perfect exchange with colleagues and customers. We support our employees by providing the latest technology.

Each “green arrival” of our employees is recorded and documented. For every trip our team makes, we invest 50 cents in the treedom project and thus actively help plant new trees. More information about this initiative: www.treedom.net

That’s why we are financially sponsoring the beekeeping association in Lustenau. With this contribution we seek to ensure the preservation and creation of bee habitats in Austria. Who knows? Maybe we will be making our own ondot honey soon!
